Looking to add a little fun and spice to your summer meals? Our newest workshop has you covered!
Homemade herb butters add excitement to a whole variety of foods, including grilled steak, baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, breakfast dishes, or even just simple crostini. Fresh herbs from our boutique (or your garden) take on new life when you see how easy and tasty it is to use them in new ways. We’re all so used to grabbing our dried herbs from the spice rack, but fresh herbs allow us to appreciate the true texture and flavor even more.
Rosemary, basil, parsley, cilantro (coriander), chives, sage, mint, tarragon, and chervil are all good candidates for herb butter, sometimes on their own and sometimes in combination. We’ll show you how easy they are to make and keep on hand for jazzing up those last minute meals. We’ll also delight you with some cream cheese variations on these.
Of course delicious tastings are included! And to add a little extra spice to the workshop, we’ll be offering discounts of 20% on plants the day of the class/workshop. Single or blended fresh herb bundles will also be available for purchase.
