Previously referred to as Calabrian before we had proper identification. This is a beautifully unique plant. Leaves are silvery fuzzy, with peppers growing upright initially green changing to deep purple to red. The fruit becomes more hot the longer on the plant. My favorite for drying and making a chile powder.
The seeds were originally shared with me from a flooring contractor in 2013, who received from family in Calabria. He didn’t know the name so we just referred to them as the Calabrian pepper. It wasn’t until 2023 that I found the accurate identification. Height up to 4ft
